Description
Formosa Cinnamon Tung Ting Oolong
This specialty is based on Jade Tung Ting Oolong from the Nantou District in the Taiwanese highlands and is enhanced with dried cinnamon pieces.
The production method is similar to that of jasmine or rose tea. Finished tea leaves are mixed in roughly equal parts with dried cinnamon pieces and then gently heated at a low temperature in a multi-tiered dryer. The ingredients are then left to rest for a week before the cinnamon is sifted out. The final product is an aromatic, mellow oolong tea with a subtle, sweet, and fruity cinnamon note that enchants the palate.
Our Cinnamon Tung Ting comes from Formosa, a region known worldwide for its exceptional teas. The result is a unique and incomparable tea blend that delights tea connoisseurs around the globe. This tea is perfect for a relaxing afternoon tea break or as an accompaniment to a meal.
