Organic Darjeeling First Flush Tea 2026 Risheehat FTGFOP1 DJ11

This organic Darjeeling first flush tea comes from the historic Risheehat Tea Estate, founded in 1859. The estate is located in eastern Darjeeling at the foot of the Himalayas and is one of the region’s historically significant plantations. On steep slopes and in a sheltered valley, the tea plants develop their characteristic aroma under optimal climatic conditions.

Cool mountain air, regular fog, and fertile soil ensure slow growth of the leaves. The harvest is carefully done by hand using the “two leaves and a bud” method. The DJ11 represents an advanced first flush harvest with pronounced aromatics and a clear structure.

The cup displays a light, brilliant color with golden highlights. In terms of flavor, the tea impresses with its intense freshness. Floral notes take center stage and are accompanied by a lively, effervescent structure. The aftertaste remains clear, aromatic, and lingering.
