Monipur Plantation

The Monipur Plantation is located in Fenchuganj in the Sylhet District of Bangladesh. It is managed by the Monipur Tea Company Ltd. and is part of the Nasir Khan Bahadur Group. Monipur is thus one of the tea plantations in the Sylhet growing region.

Publicly verifiable information on the early history of the plantation’s founding and its exact total area is limited. However, in publicly accessible operational records, Monipur appears as a large-scale tea garden with its own field and factory operations.

For one documented operating year, approximately 1,794,197 kilograms of green leaf and approximately 397,870 kilograms of processed tea are reported. This figure represents a published annual output and not necessarily a long-term average.

Due to its location in the Sylhet tea-growing region and its affiliation with an established group of operators, Monipur is now considered an economically significant tea plantation in Bangladesh.
