Our coffee capsule is made from 100% renewable raw materials. This has been independently certified by DIN CERTCO with the “100% bio-based” seal (certification number 8C150).
The wood used for coffee capsules comes from sustainably managed, PEFC-certified forests in southern Germany. We use wood fibers derived from waste products, such as sawdust.
Our coffee capsules contain no fossil-based plastics. This means they are free of persistent microplastics—and thanks to their 100% bio-based ingredients, no microplastics are released even during decomposition.
