Discover a centuries-old coffee tradition from the birthplace of coffee—Mocha Matari coffee from Yemen. This exquisite Arabica specialty is hand-cultivated in the Matari region at altitudes of up to 2,200 meters. After harvesting between November and January, the beans undergo gentle processing. Traditionally dried coffee beans are roasted by hand in pots using charcoal. This is how Mocha Matari develops its incomparable aroma with floral and fruity notes and a full-bodied, robust character. A Yemeni coffee straight out of One Thousand and One Nights.
Which grind size is suitable for which brewing method:
- Extra fine: guarantees a stronger aroma for your mocha preparation.
- Fine: a more standard to milder aroma for your espresso machine, espresso maker, or pour-over.
- Medium: for conventional filter coffee makers.
- Coarse: a slightly milder aroma for your coffee maker. (French press)
