Ethiopia Wild Grown Kafa Forest
Atempause’s exceptional wild coffee from Ethiopia’s Kafa Forest grows naturally in the forests at altitudes ranging from 1,300 to 2,000 meters. The shrubs thrive in the wild, without cultivation or fertilization. The berries are harvested by hand by the local population. This gentle harvesting process ensures an authentic, unadulterated coffee experience.
The Arabica beans are characterized by their balanced acidity, strong body, and intense aroma. Notes of rich moorland fruit and dark chocolate are complemented by a hint of red berries. The beans are dried in the traditional manner on terraces covered with banana leaves. Thanks to this gentle processing, Kafa Forest Coffee develops its full potential for complexity and richness.
On the palate, a robust, earthy flavor unfolds with a slight sweetness and a long-lasting finish. The creamy crema and silky mouthfeel make Wild Coffee an intense delight. Whether as an espresso, filter coffee, or in a milk-based coffee—this premium product delights with its wildness and authenticity.
