Lumbini Black Strings Tea is an award-winning black tea made from two hand-picked, young tea leaves. The tightly twisted tea strings result in an exceptional dry tea with an elegant texture and deep flavor.
🍃 For preparation, we recommend water heated to 90°C with a steeping time of 30 seconds; ideal for multiple infusions. Even the first infusion reveals an amber-colored cup with a delicate rosé shimmer—a true play of colors in the teapot. The cup unfolds spicy notes, a subtle melon and honey sweetness, accompanied by a slightly floral finish.
🌿 The tea comes from one of the best locations in the Lumbini Tea Valley, whose mineral-rich soils and microclimate are responsible for its aromatic richness. No wonder this tea has already won two international awards—in 2003 in the U.S. and in 2013 in Dubai.
