Panama Hacienda La Esmeralda Geisha
Cup of Excellence Winner
In the world of coffee, the Cup of Excellence is the highest honor a coffee can receive. It is the gold medal of the coffee world.
This rare Geisha coffee comes from Hacienda La Esmeralda in Panama. The Arabica beans grow at an altitude of about 1,850 meters and, under the unique conditions of the growing region, develop an elegant, complex aroma.
Delicate jasmine notes blend with stone fruit and bergamot. A clean, brilliant acidity provides freshness and balance. To allow these delicate nuances to fully unfold, this Panama Geisha is particularly well-suited for slow brewing methods such as drip coffee or pour-over; it is not recommended for espresso.
For pour-over, we recommend the HARIO V60 ceramic dripper, size 02, and the corresponding HARIO V60 paper filters, size 02.
